X platform (formerly Twitter) revealed that it has officially started converting the TweetDeck platform into a paid service that requires a verified account user, as the it will only be available to owners of verified accounts subscribing to the X Premium (formerly Twitter Blue).
Users of the TweetDeck platform will be redirected to the subscription page when they try to use it to access their accounts in the X platform, as the company announced in early July that it changed the name of the platform TweetDeck to XPro, in addition to making it limited to those with subscriptions to the platform, adding that at that time, X promised to implement the new changes within a month, which has already been achieved.
X subscribers enjoy many advantages, including the ability to share long posts with followers, give them priority in appearing, highlight the distinctive verification mark next to the name, benefit from the platform's profit-sharing program, upload long videos, edit posts, and now have exclusive access to the TweetDeck platform, among others.
The TweetDeck platform is one of the most popular external tools used to access Twitter formerly and was a free service. However, the company bought it in 2011, and the platform allows support for multiple accounts and customization of content, which made it a powerful tool for journalists, influencers, marketers, and other people who rely on formerly Twitter, now X, in their daily work.
