The activities of the second week of Katara Summer Camp 2023 concluded Tuesday, where the participants visited Al Thuraya Planetarium and watched a 3D movie entitled 'The Astronaut', learned about the parts of the Planetarium, obtained information that enriched their knowledge about the universe and astronomy, and received first aid and fire and accident safety training.
General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti visited the venue of the Katara summer camp and was briefed on some of the activities held for the participants.
The activities and events of the third week of the Katara summer camp are scheduled to resume on Sunday, with various activities and programs for the participants aimed at enriching their knowledge.
Katara is keen that the participating children in the camp live in an atmosphere of benefit and fun through lectures and training workshops offered by the participating parties, in addition to field visits to Al Thuraya Planetarium, the Al Gannas Association, and the Katara Traditional Dhow Museum.
It is worth noting that the activities of the Katara summer camp will continue until August 15. Over the past two weeks it witnessed a great turnout of participants.
