Qatar Football Association (QFA) has announced the candidacy of HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al-Thani for the position of Vice-President of the Arab Football Association for the Asian continent and for membership of the Arab Football Association Council for the current electoral cycle that extends until 2025.
The elections will be held during the 27th General Assembly meeting of the Arab Football Association on the August 10 in Saudi Arabia. The recent elections were held in June 2021 to choose the new executive office of the Arab Football Association in its new session 2021-2025 resulted in the recommendation of Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Faisal as President of Arab Football Association.
