Inspectors of the Protection and Wildlife Department at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) have wrapped up the judiciary course that primarily focused on the general provisions of judicial enforcement in the Qatari law and methods of writing reports.
Organised by the Institute of Criminal Studies at Public Prosecution, the course was within the framework of MoECC's preparations to conduct inspection campaigns aimed at detecting the environmental violations that threaten wildlife, in addition to awareness-raising campaigns to familiarize citizens and residents with the regulations and laws that must be followed, methods of conserving natural reserves in all regions of Qatar, and awareness-raising on the importance of avoiding violations that are punishable by the law.
The three-week course introduced the legal system of the judicial enforcement, methods of familiarizing inspectors of the Protection and Wildlife Department with legal and practical skills in the field of judicial enforcement, duties discharged by judicial inspectors with their public and private jurisdictions, concepts and mechanisms of administrative and judicial enforcement and figuring out the distinction between them.
