The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in co-operation with Al Wajba Motors, Qatar’s Bentley dealership, has announced the recall of Bentley Bentayga, model year 2022 because the rear seat frame is not fixed properly and may move in the event of an accident.
The MoCI, in co-operation with Skyline Automotive, Qatar’s Genesis dealership, has also announced the recall of Genesis GV80 and GV70, 2019- 2023 models because some vehicles may experience a malfunction in the front seat belt pretensioners, which may cause the pretensioners to slip.
The ministry said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The ministry said that it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works, and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
