Qatar has participated in the 39th meeting of the GCC General Directors of Traffic which was held in Riyadh from July 17-23.
The Qatari delegation to the meeting was headed by Acting Director-General of Traffic Brigadier Abdulaziz bin Jassim al-Thani. The meeting discussed a number of issues related to following up on the results and recommendations of the minutes of the 38th meeting.
Also, it reviewed the most important results and reports of the technical teams specialised in programmes and plans for awareness and traffic safety, linking traffic violations between the GCC countries and other related topics.
