His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Jeddah on Wednesday evening after participating with the leaders of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) countries in the 18th Consultative Meeting of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the first GCC-Central Asia Summit in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
His Highness the Amir sent a cable to his brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, expressing his sincerest thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit. His Highness the AMir congratulated the leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of the successful 18th Consultative Meeting of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the first GCC-Central Asia Summit, wishing the Gulf-Asian relations further progress and growth.
His Highness the Amir was accompanied by HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, alongside an official delegation.
