Meta Platforms, Inc. announced today a set of changes related to video on Facebook.
Those changes include new editing features, combining all video content under one tab called Video instead of Facebook Watch, as well as updating discovery in terms of watching videos.
"Video is core to Facebook short videos could be posted to Feed as early as 2007. Nowadays, our unique cross-section of Reels, long-form and Live content brings people to Facebook to watch videos about the things they like, new stuff theyd want to know about, and to engage with real people with similar interests," the company said in a blog entry.
The company said that bringing all video content onto a Video tab will make it simpler and easier for users to discover content.
