Animals at the Rome Zoo enjoy tasting frozen fruits to help them cool off from the heat in the Italian capital. It is expected that Rome will record 40 degrees Celsius on Monday, and between 42 and 43 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, breaking the record temperature recorded in August 2007, which amounted to 40.5 degrees Celsius.
