Qatar and Marshall Islands have signed a joint statement to establish diplomatic relations between them at the Permanent Mission of Qatar to the UN in New York.
The statement was signed by HE the Permanent Representative of Qatar to the UN Sheikha Alya bint Ahmed bin Saif al-Thani and Permanent Representative of the Marshall Islands to the UN Amatlain Elizabeth Kabua. The two sides expressed their confidence that the establishment of diplomatic relations would contribute to deepening and developing bilateral co-operation in various fields. (QNA)
