The Qatari Haj Mission has won the Saudi Ministry of Haj and Umrah's quality initiative award for providing best services to Qatar's pilgrims for Haj season 1444 AH.
The mission was honoured during the closing annual ceremony organised by the Saudi ministry in the holy city of Makkah in partnership with Pilgrims Experience Programme which is one of the executive programmes for the Saudi Vision 2030 to pay tribute to the distinguished Haj offices for their efforts to provide best services to the pilgrims.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Saudi Minister of Haj and Umrah Dr Tawfiq bin Fawzan bin Mohamed al-Rabiah and Chief Executive Officer of Pilgrims Experience Programme Mohamed A Ismail honoured winners of the 2nd edition of "Labitam" award.
Deputy Head of the Qatari Haj Mission Ali bin Sultan al-Misifri was honoured after the mission was elected among 33 Haj offices.
Meanwhile, al-Misifri praised Saudi Arabia's efforts to offer superior services to the pilgrims, in addition to preparing all means to expedite the performance of Haj rites correctly and more expeditiously.
He also lauded the productive and constant co-operation and co-ordination between the Saudi Ministry of Haj and Tawafa Establishment for South Asian Pilgrims which largely facilitated the operation of the Qatari Haj Mission and expedited all things for the service of Qatar's pilgrims.
