Qatar men’s team booked their place in the FIBA 3x3 U-23 Nations League Final 2023 after emerging at the top of the standings of West Asia Conference in Doha on Monday. Team Qatar defeated Jordan (17-13), Saudi Arabia (21-13) and Turkmenistan (21-15) to win the final Stop of the conference. This was Qatar’s third win in the six-leg series. Qatar won the 1st, 4th and 6th stops while finished second in the Stop 2 and 3. They came fourth in the Stop 5. The results gave them a win percentage of 72, with an average of 18.8 points, 1.2 above their closest rivals Turkmenistan. The Nations League finals will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, from September 13-15, with the participation of winners of 13 conferences from all over the globe. Jordan women’s team also qualified for the Final.
