Vodafone Qatar recently participated in the fifth edition of the ‘My Career – My Future’ programme by the Qatar Career Development Centre (QCDC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau.
The programme provided high school students with the opportunity to explore Qatar’s various job industries, giving them the chance to experience real-life work environments at any participating organisation of their choice.
A team from Vodafone Qatar were on hand to talk about the telecommunications industry, as well as the different departments within the organisation and took the students on an interactive tour of its flagship store at Place Vendome Mall.
Khames al-Naimi, chief human resources officer at Vodafone Qatar, said: “At Vodafone, we are committed to developing the talents of students by providing them with essential knowledge and skills to help them build their careers in the telecommunications sector.
“It was a great pleasure to be a part of this event, and to help enable the students to explore all the different opportunities available to them, by leveraging their skills to take the next step in their careers.”
