Qatar Haj Mission has completed all preparations to ensure that the pilgrims from Qatar perform this year's Haj and all the rituals in the correct manner.
The head of the mission's legal unit, Mohamed Mahmoud al-Mahmoud, said that the unit is mandated with all legal issues related to the affairs and fatwas of Haj, including responding to the calls and inquiries of pilgrims and answering their questions related to the performance of the Haj, in addition to following up on the work of the religious guides accompanying the pilgrims.
He highlighted that the unit is keen, in co-operation with the specialised units of the mission, to publish Sharia guidelines through text messages, video and audio clips, and awareness pictures through the Ministry of Awqaf's accounts on social media platforms to guide pilgrims and educate them on the Haj.
A total of 22 guides, nominated by the ministry, have been assigned to the 19 Qatari Haj campaigns for this year, al-Mahmoud added stressing that the conditions in the Qatari Haj campaigns are stable, and that planning for the performance of the Haj rituals is proceeding smoothly.
