HE the Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counter-Terrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution Dr Mutlaq bin Majed al-Qahtani met with Director of Counter-Terrorism Department in the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Alastair Totty, on the sidelines of the UN's Third Counter-Terrorism Week (CT Week) that is taking place in New York from June 19-23.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to unify efforts to achieve security and stability in Afghanistan, in addition to discussing the situation in Al-Hol camp in Syria, and the prospects for co-operation in combating terrorism in Africa, especially in the Sahel region.
