talabat, the region’s leading platform for everyday deliveries, announced the 2023 edition of “Summer Together”, its annual summer initiatives focused on supporting riders around the region during the hotter months of the year, a statement said Thursday.
The tech platform’s recurring campaign is the result of years of collaboration with riders, vendors, and customers, applying feedback to continuously improve and provide riders on the platform with a smoother experience whilst delivering customers’ everyday needs.
This year, the initiatives aim to ensure riders’ safety and well-being, with talabat introducing the ‘Rider Shelf’ in its corporate office, fully stocked with chilled fruit juices and Aquafina water sponsored by Baladna and Pepsico, respectively. Riders on the go can grab them when delivering to offices and air-conditioned waiting areas in partnership with restaurants, where they can take breaks and hydrate throughout the day.
talabat’s optimised tech plays an equally important role in supporting riders on the platform daily, giving them full flexibility to choose their preferred shifts and schedule breaks whenever needed in order to rest and hydrate.
Additionally, the app’s innovative technology provides riders with the safest and most efficient route options – which ensures they travel the shortest possible distances while on deliveries.
This further minimises waiting and travelling time during their shifts. talabat Qatar managing director Francisco Miguel De Sousa said: “talabat is proud to announce the 2023 ‘Summer Together’ initiatives, focused on supporting riders on the platform in Qatar during the hotter months.
Initiatives, like the Rider Shelf, demonstrate the organisation’s commitment to supporting the hard work of riders using talabat.
“I encourage our valued customers to show appreciation by offering support and gratitude to riders during this summer season.
“Together, let’s create a positive and supportive environment for riders on the platform.”
talabat encourages customers to be patient and make way for riders on the road, along with showing gratitude and appreciation by providing water and cool beverages when receiving their orders, the statement added.
