Ecuador’s ambassador to Qatar, Pascual Del Cioppo, and the Expo 2023 Doha commissioner general, ambassador Bader Omar al-Dafa, Wednesday signed the final agreement for Ecuador’s participation in the event, the Ecuadorian embassy announced.
The government of Ecuador, through President Guillermo Lasso and the embassy, has finalised its participation after several months of negotiation. The Ecuador pavilion will cover 1,182sq m at the event. Expo 2023 Doha, scheduled to take place from October 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024, is the first international horticultural exhibition to be held in the Middle East and North Africa region.
According to the embassy, agricultural products, crafts and environmental practices will be exhibited at the pavilion, and Ecuadorian producers will have the opportunity to showcase the benefits of the products, their quality and sustainability in the production processes.
