British billionaire Hamish Harding, Pakistani tycoon Shahzada Dawood and Dawood's son Suleman, French submarine operator Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and OceanGate Expeditions CEO Stockton Rush are on board a missing submersible 'Titan' near the wreck of the Titanic which is at the heart of a rescue mission by the US Coast Guard.
The 6.7-meter submersible Titan, operated by US-based OceanGate Expeditions, began its descent at 8am (1200 GMT) on Sunday, according to the US Coast Guard. It lost contact with its parent surface vessel during what should have been a two-hour dive to the Titanic. AFP
