The Welfare Department of MES Indian School conducted a session on personal hygiene for 474 students of the KG section. The resource person Annamma John, nurse, Health Promotion and Non-Communicable Disease Division, Ministry of Public Health, emphasised the importance of maintaining personal hygiene, including regular bathing, washing hands, brushing teeth and wearing clean and neat clothes. There was a role-play highlighting the necessity to maintain personal hygiene in day-to-day life. Principal Hameeda Kadar spoke. The members of the Welfare Department, Gincy Wilson, Shiju Sebastian and Praseela A, co-ordinated the event.
