The Planning and Statistics Authority's (PSA) pavilion at the Doha International Book Fair showcases publications on Qatar National Vision 2030 and the national development strategy, as well as PSA's periodical statistical publications in various fields, publications of the General Census of Population, Housing and Establishments, and an atlas of Qatar.
The pavilion also displays pictures from the archives and achievements of the first and second national development strategies, in addition to an interactive opinion poll asking visitors of the pavilion about aspirations regarding the third national development strategy of Qatar.
Through its participation in the book fair, the PSA seeks to introduce the community to its work in the areas of strategic planning, statistical operations and surveys, with an emphasis on the importance of encouraging all members of society to read, research, and participate in cultural activities for the sake of further advancing development.
