The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) team has won the sixth edition of the Banks and Financial Institutions Championship, organised by the Qatar Football Association (QFA), following a 5-0 victory over the Qatar Islamic Bank team at Aspire Academy.
Aziz Fawzi scored twice, Ahmed Abed Rabbo hit a brace, and Islam Hassan netted a goal for the QCB team.
QCB assistant governor Abdullah al-Nuaimi, QFA marketing and communications director Khaled al-Kuwari, and Aspire Zone executive director of sports facilities Ahmed al-Hassan attended the final match and closing ceremony.
Al-Kuwari presented the trophy to the winning team and crowned the winners in the tournament, which started on May 27 with the participation of 18 teams.
The Al Madina Exchange team defeated the National Exchange team 9-1 to seal the third place.
