The Japanese embassy will participate in the 32nd edition of the Doha International Book Fair, which begins Monday and concludes on June 21.
This year, the Japanese pavilion will feature a range of books on various fields that appeal to readers of all ages, a statement said. It will also host a slew of cultural activities to engage with visitors, such as Japanese calligraphy and origami.
Visitors to the pavilion will also be welcomed by staff members of the embassy, who will answer queries on Japanese culture, tourism, language and education, and scholarship opportunities in Japan.
The embassy has been keen on taking part in this annual cultural event for years, as it offers a wonderful opportunity to promote cultural understanding between Japan and Qatar.
In this light, the embassy welcomes all visitors to come and learn about Japan during the book fair at its booth No. H4-38.
