Qatar Career Development Centre (QCDC), founded by Qatar Foundation (QF), has begun the fifth edition of the 'My Career-My Future' programme in collaboration with some 13 public and private sector organisations.
Conducted exclusively in Arabic, the programme began with an opening ceremony at Multaqa (Education City Student Center), attended by around 88 students, providing them with the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the programme's agenda and activations, as well as meeting representatives of the organisations they chose for their job shadowing experience.
Over the next three days, students will engage in a hands-on job shadowing experience in real work environment at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar Airways, Amlak Holding, the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa), Katara Cultural Village, Qatar University, Vodafone, Qatar Tourism, Commercial Bank, Nama - Social Development Centre, and Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Company.
The programme will conclude on Thursday with a closing ceremony to honour the students and participating entities, accompanied by a university exhibition.
