Qatar has strongly condemned the sabotage of the headquarters of the embassy of Saudi Arabia in Sudan, its branches and the residence and property of Saudi employees working at the embassy, as well as the headquarters of the embassy of Bahrain and the residence of its ambassador in Khartoum, stressing the need to provide protection for diplomatic missions and to pursue the perpetrators and bring them to justice. In a statement issued, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar's stance calling to immediately end the fighting in Sudan, exercise maximum restraint, resort to the voice of reason, uphold the public interest, and spare civilians the consequences of fighting. The ministry also expressed Qatar's aspiration that all parties pursue dialogue and peaceful means to overcome differences.
