His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on Thursday inaugurated Imam Abu Hanifa Al-Nu'man bin Thabit Mosque in Dushanbe.
His Highness the Amir and the Tajik President unveiled the plaque marking the inauguration, in the square of the mosque. After that, His Highness the Amir toured the mosque, the cultural building, the library, and the educational departments inside the center, which aims to contribute to the consolidation of Islamic and educational values.
President Rahmon extended thanks to His Highness the Amir for inaugurating the mosque and to His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, recalling that it was agreed to build the mosque with the support of the State of Qatar, in previous visits during the reign of His Highness the Father Amir.
Their Excellencies the members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir, and a number of senior Tajik officials attended the inauguration ceremony.
