His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani Thursday affirmed that his talks with Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon aimed to support stability and development in the region.
In a tweet, His Highness the Amir thanked President Rahmon for the warm welcome accorded to him during the visit to this fraternal country, which provided the opportunity to hold in-depth discussions on investment opportunities between Qatar and Tajikistan for the benefit of the two fraternally countries and support stability and development in the region.
Earlier Thursday, His Highness the Amir affirmed that the talks he held with Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev aim to strengthen co-operation relations between the two friendly countries, which are witnessing continuous development in various fields.
In a tweet, His Highness the Sheikh Tamim said he discussed with President Tokayev, during his visit to Kazakhstan, aspects of strengthening co-operation relations between the two friendly countries, which are witnessing continuous development in various fields, and exchanged views on regional and international issues.
His Highness added that he also participated in the Astana International Forum, which this year discusses pivotal issues such as energy, climate and food security, expressing hope that the forum would achieve its desired goals in reaching proposed solutions to the various challenges facing Asia and the world.
His Highness expressed thanks to President Tokayev for the warm hospitality.
