His Highness the Amir was accorded Tuesday morning an official reception ceremony upon his arrival at the Congress Center in Samarkand.
President Mirziyoyev led well-wishers to welcome His Highness the Amir.
The ceremony started with the Qatari and Uzbek national anthems before His Highness the Amir reviewed the Guard of Honour. He then shook hands with members of the Uzbek delegation and senior officials.
The President of Uzbekistan also shook hands with members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir and senior officials.
Also, His Highness Sheikh Tamim attended the luncheon banquet hosted by President Mirziyoyev in honour of His Highness and the accompanying delegation.
