The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has announced that some of its services will be suspended at government service centres with immediate effect. Instead, these services can be availed of through the Single Window website (http://investor.sw.gov.qa).
The services are: adding a new branch; changing the trade name; changing the trade name with activity modification; modifying personal data; modifying business activities; changing the location; changing the responsible manager; and renewing a commercial licence.
The move comes as part of the government’s digital transformation efforts to provide services through digital channels, the MoCI said in a notification on social media.
