HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah participated in opening session of the 20th Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD) currently being convened in Singapore and the roundtable meeting of the participating ministers.
The meeting discussed security and defence challenges facing Asia and the world in general, in addition to possible solutions to achieve security and stability. The SLD is a governmental security summit which is held annually by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) with the participation of prime ministers, ministers of defense, senior military leaders, along with defence and security policies makers from all over the world.
