The Qatari-British Joint Bilateral Technical Committee in Education held a meeting in London on June 1 and 2. HE the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) Dr Ibrahim bin Saleh al-Nuaimi headed the Qatari delegation to the meeting, which tackled ways to develop public, private and college education; co-operation to promote education and exchanging expertise in these fields. In addition, the meeting discussed co-operation in equivalence of diplomas, technical education, educating students with special needs, co-operation opportunities in terms of exchanging students and teachers between the two countries, conducting joint research and coordinating in the academic framework for academic qualifications. At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides underscored continuation of the committee's work to develop co-operation between them in the field of education.
