Birla Public School-Primary II organised the Investiture Ceremony 2023-24 and inducted the newly elected Student Council members on May 24.
The positions include head boy, head girl, house captains, vice captains and prefects.
School chairman Gope Shahani, congratulated the student officials. The function commenced with the school prayer by Nelin Nelson Erumala and Aahil Anas, followed by the Qatar and Indian National Anthem.
The Primary II school choir performed under the guidance of Geneikam. Academic director – principal Harish Sanduja administered the oath to all new leaders of the Prefectorial Board. They were invested by various members of the school leadership team - vice principal Edna Fernandez, head of non-academics Vinod Kumar K V, Primary II headmistress Anu Thomas, and heads of all sections. Parents of the Student Council members were present.
Florida Nixon and Jismy Joseph were the masters of ceremony. The programme culminated with the sports captain, Stera Kunjappan Ripson proposing a vote of thanks.
