The Training Center for Candidates has concluded the 'Labseer' exercise for the course of military science diploma No. 10 under the auspices of HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah and in the presence of Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces HE Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel al-Nabit. The exercise was intended to test the candidates' capabilities in applying combat skills and highlighting their leading role and information in mobilization through battle procedures for commanders of the minor sub-units (platoon-company) under exigent circumstances, understanding war principles generally, including obstructive and defensive principles, methods of correctly applying them on the ground, planning and carrying out patrols, training on sea landing, and developing combat skills in built-up areas.
The exercise was attended by a number of senior officers in the armed forces, along with several Amiri Guard officers, Ministry of Interior and Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya).
