The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs on Tuesday held a scientific workshop in co-operation with the Ibn Khaldun Centre for Humanities and Social Sciences of Qatar University (QU).
According to an official statement, the workshop was held to discuss the most prominent challenges that hinder communication between Islamic sciences and social sciences, and to discuss ways to address and activate them.
A group of scholars and preachers from Awqaf, academics and social researchers from the Ibn Khaldun Centre attended the workshop that was held in the presence of HE the Minister of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem.
