Qatar football squad under the watchful eyes of head coach Carlos Queiroz began a three-day training camp at the Aspire Academy on Monday, as the young Al Annabi side prepare for next month’s Concacaf Gold Cup. After attending the brief camp, Al Annabi will depart for Vienna, Austria, on Thursday for the second phase of the training camp to prepare for their second appearance as guest side at the Gold Cup, which will be played from June 16 to July 16 in the US and Canada. Queiroz, earlier this month had announced a 24-player squad for training camp. leaving out many of the senior stars who had appeared at the World Cup.
