A Qatari airplane carrying 50 tonnes of foodstuff, provided by Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and Qatar Charity (QC), arrived at Port Sudan Airport in Sudan Monday.
The aid is provided by Qatar to the people of Sudan who are facing difficult conditions due to the continuation of fighting.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said a Qatari airplane evacuated a new group of 199 people, holders of Qatari residency, from Sudan, bringing the total number of evacuated people to 1,620.
The ministry reiterated Qatar's keenness on security and stability in Sudan.
