A total of 1,501 students from all sections of MES Indian School were honoured for their scholastic performance in the academic year 2022-23 during the Principal’s Honour List (PHL) ceremony.
A total of 632 students were from Boys’ and Girls’ Sections and from Classes V to XI. While Class XI students who secured PHL in all five subjects were honoured with mementoes and certificates, the meritorious students of Classes V to IX and XI were awarded with certificates. Also at the ceremony, for the first time, Scholar Batch holders of Classes IX and XI (students who secured 98% in aggregate) and the Grade toppers of all divisions of Grades 5-8 as well as IX and XI were honoured with certificates.

O M Siddique, Ashraf Sharafudheen P T, Abdul Fathah P O and T K Ansar and principal Dr Hameeda Kadar felicitated the achievers.
While a place on the PHL is bestowed on Class XI students who feature among the top 5%, all students from Classes I to IX securing A1 in all major subjects are eligible.
In a ceremony conducted for the Junior Section the same day, a total of 869 PHL holders were honoured with certificates. Dr Kadar and other officials, Mohamed Illias, Reshmi Venugopalan, Uzma Fatimee, Lalitha Srinivas and Baby Shana felicitated the meritorious students of Grades I to IV.
