Qatar witnessed a strong double-digit year-on-year growth in aircraft movements in April 2023, according to Civil Aviation Authority.
Doha witnessed as many as 18,762 aircraft movements in April 2023, reporting a robust 14.3% increase on an annualised basis.
The number of passengers increased by 31% year-on-year to 3.28mn in April 2023; said the data released by the authority.
Meanwhile, air freight and mail showed a decline of 8.3% year-on-year to 186,302 tonnes in the review period.
"The number of passengers registered in February and March were the highest ever recorded for these two months since the start of operations at both Hamad and Doha International Airports," the civil aviation authority had said in a tweet.
