The General Directorate of Drug Enforcement has apprehended an individual from an Asian country with about 4kg of methamphetamine, commonly known as 'shabu,' the Ministry of Interior (MoI) tweeted on Thursday. The suspect had distributed the illicit substance in various containers in his residence. When confronted with the seized items, he admitted to obtaining the narcotics through curtain fabrics saturated with the drug and received through a mail parcel. The suspect also showed the tools and methods used to extract and handle the banned material. He, along with the seized items, has been handed over to the Public Prosecution for further legal proceedings, the MoI tweet added.
