Toastmasters in Qatar will be organising their District Toastmasters Annual Conference (DTAC 2023) on Friday and Saturday. Over 500 participants representing nearly 20 nationalities will take part in the event.
The World Champion of Public Speaking, Cyril Jr Dim, will be delivering the keynote speech and training sessions on effective communication at the event.
Toastmasters International president (2019-20) Deepak Menon will be delivering keynote speech on leadership.
There will be speech contests in four categories to select the best speakers in Qatar.
The winner of the international speech category will advance his/her prospects to represent Qatar at the World Champion of Public Speaking in August 2023 to be held at Toastmasters International Convention.
The details were announced by DTAC 2023 chairman Khalid al-Ahmad Hamdan; district director Rajesh V C, programme quality director Ravishankar, club growth director Sabeena M K, education and training manager Bindu Pillai, sponsorship manager Dewakinandan, district administration manager Aparna Rahnish, DTAC secretary Najla Azad and project manager, Mashood V C at a press conference recently.
