Mother’s Day was celebrated on a grand scale by the Kindergarteners of Birla Public School. The mothers were invited to the respective classes of their ward and presented a beautiful card of gratitude. The mothers participated in the interclass Rangoli competition. ‘Grab a Treat, the highlight of the day, saw students sit with their mothers and have snacks. Later, headmistress Josephine Fernandes welcomed the mothers to a function. The students presented music and dance performances dedicated to their mothers. Academic director - principal Harish Sanduja addressed the gathering on the importance of mothers in the life of a child. Vice principal Edna Fernandez dedicated a song on motherhood on behalf of the BPS Staff to mark the occasion. ‘Souvenirs of Love’ by the Kindergarten Family, were also distributed.
