Qatar, represented by the Civil Aviation Authority, took part in the 19th World Meteorological Congress at the headquarters of the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The delegation of the Civil Aviation Authority was headed by Mohamed Faleh al-Hajri, who is in-charge of managing the Civil Aviation Authority, in the presence of HE the Permanent Representative of Qatar to the UN Office in Geneva Dr Hind al-Muftah.
The congress discussed an array of topics related to weather and climate, and the strategic plan to enhance the WMO's vision for a world where all nations are more resilient to the socioeconomic consequences of extreme weather, climate, water and other environmental events by 2023.
