The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) held the fourth Partners and Family Advisory Group (PFAG) to celebrate three years of the first Advisory Group’s contributions in the strategic cycle 2019-2023, as well as welcoming the second group for the upcoming strategy 2024-2026.
The meeting was chaired by Dr Maryam Abdul Malik, PHCC Medical Director, and attended by PFAG partners alongside PHCC executive directors.
In her opening speech, Dr. Mariam Abdul-Malik said: “Our partnership with patients and their families is vital to the success of our healthcare services.”
The meeting also highlighted PHCC achievements and enhancements during the first cycle. Dr Amal al-Ali, executive director of Quality and Patient Safety, presented the improvement and changes that have been made based PFAG inputs. It included many expansionary projects in PHCC services across the country, the introduction of new technology-based services, and the establishment of new health care centres.
