The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Monday urged the International Criminal Court (ICC) to provide protection for the Palestinian people, calling on Court's Prosecutor to break his silence and assume his responsibilities by speeding up his investigations without any hesitation leading to holding the killers and criminals accountable and prosecute them.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry condemned the occupation forces' crimes against the Palestinian people, the latest of which was the storming this morning of Balata refugee camp in Nablus, which led to the killing of three Palestinians and the injury of others.
These crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces are part of the daily killing of Palestinians in the occupied territories with the approval of the Israeli political leadership, the statement added.
The Foreign Ministry also held the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for these crimes.
