Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi Friday shared a picture of Qatar taken from the International Space Station (ISS).
On his Twitter account, along with the picture, Al Neyadi wrote, "The heart of the Gulf, Bahrain and the Pearl of the Gulf, Qatar (as seen) from the space. May God bless the countries and our Gulf with goodness and glory and keep us safe and secure." Al Neyadi had done a 7-hour-long spacewalk on April 29, along with and NASA astronaut Steve Bowen to become the first Arab to conduct a spacewalk.

Al Neyadi is also the first Arab and Emirati astronaut on a long-term mission to ISS. He is expected to be on board the space station till September 2023. Another UAE astronaut, Hazza Al Mansoori, who lived on the space station for eight days in 2019 is the first Arab and UAE astronaut to go to space.
