The country may experience rain that could be thundery at places from Thursday until the start of next week, the Department of Meteorology said in a tweet Tuesday. More clouds are expected to gather across the country during the period and partly cloudy to cloudy weather may prevail.
The wind will be mainly Southeasterly-Northeasterly with light to moderate speeds that can turn strong during thundery rain.
The Meteorological Department has urged all to be careful and follow safety instructions during thundery rain and depend on official sources only for information.
