The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs' General Directorate of Endowments has honoured male and female winners of the 'Small Muhaddith' competition that was held under the supervision of the Ministry of Endowments and MoEHE.
HE Director-General of the General Department of Endowments Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Ghanim al-Thani hailed the high turnout for this year's edition of the competition, where the number of participants reached 6,705 of male and female students, while 4,015 male and female students and guardians received good or higher grade.
The competition comes in conformity with the objectives of the endowment bank to serve the Qur'an and Sunnah, which seeks to achieve numerous objectives, including instilling the love for the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), and good morals in the hearts of the attendees, he said, pointing out that the endowment work is dedicated to fostering societal partnerships.
