On May 11th, the annual Diamonds and Pearls Dinner and end of the year of activities held by the American Women’s Association (AWA) was marked.
Highlights included service projects with refugees from Afghanistan and providing of Iftar meals as well as networking and social events to learn about Qatari culture. AWA held over 180 social events, museum tours, business tours and book clubs this year, and has been active in Qatar for 43 years.
