The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) was conducted for medical aspirants on May 7 at MES Indian School under the supervision of the Embassy of India.
NEET UG 2023, held in pen and paper mode, witnessed an increased number of medical aspirants this year. MES Indian School was the centre for the second time in Qatar after the successful conduct of the same last July.
A total of 416 candidates (156 male and 260 female) appeared this year for the exam. As per the instructions given in the admit card, candidates were asked to reach the exam venue following the NEET dress code and other instructions. The centre superintendent and principal, Dr Hameeda Kadar said the school in co-ordination with the Indian embassy had made elaborate arrangements to facilitate the smooth and hassle-free conduct of the exam.
Indian embassy first secretary Sachin D Shankpal was the observer along with attache Bindu N Nair to oversee the overall conduct of the examination.
