Diaspora of Malappuram (DoM), a forum of expatriates in Qatar from Malappuram district in the southern Indian state of Kerala, organised a condolence meeting to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in a boat accident in Tanur recently.
The event at Indian Cultural Centre was attended by prominent personalities from the community. Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) president Shanawas Bawa, Ashraf (Qatar Friends Mambat Association), Amin Annara (Q Team), Abdullah Tiroor (Mind Tune Waves), Abubakar Thirutiad (VSF), Naushad Athirumada (ICF), Rahim (Kozhikode Expatriate Association), Sharif Kakatiri (Parapur Pravasi Association), Suresh Babu Panicker, Harishankar, Noora Mashood, Ashraf Cherakkal, Dr Shafiq Thapi Mampat, advocate Jauhar, K V Boban (ICBF), Faiz (Focus Qatar), A K Moosa Tanur (KMCC Tanur), Yusuf Panchili, Ajmal Arikod (KMCC Ernad) and DoM officials Abdul Asees Chevidikkunnan, Usman Kallan, Mashhood Thirtiyad and Keshavdas spoke.
