Center for Indian Community (CIC) Qatar – Rayyan Zone honoured at a special ceremony the organisations, institutions and individuals for supporting its Iftar kit distribution programme, organised during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Iftar kits were distributed with the co-operation of organisations such as Wahab Foundation, Telangana Welfare Association, ITPN, Ansar Alumni, Qatar Malayalees, Mallu Volunteers, alumni of various MES colleges, various Mahallu and social welfare groups, business establishments and individuals.
Over 30,000 meal kits and about 300 raw food items kits were also distributed. Along with this, new festiveclothes and festive food were distributed to 150 people during Eid al-Fitr days.
The honouring ceremony was presided over by Rayyan zonal vice president Subul Abdul Aziz and CIC central public service wing chairman P P Raheem inaugurated. Organisation secretary Abdul Jaleel M M welcomed the gathering and zonal public service wing leader Siddique Vengara proposed a vote of thanks.
CIC Rayyan zonal volunteers were also honoured at the same function. Zonal executive members Rafeeq Thangal, Hussain Kadannamanna, Kavil Abdul Rahman, Mohsin VK, Thahir T K and Basith were present.
